Notes
a. Note:   Per 1910 census, Josephine's brother, Charles W Wright lived next door to them with his wife Emma. Per the 1910 census, she had given birth to 10 children and 6 were still living at the time of the census. Only know of the 3 shown in the 1910 census . Did she lose any babies with George McIntosh? She must have been married at least once before. Had thought it may have been to a Harden Monroe based on info on a 1900 KY census but have found Harden's son Oscar's deathe certificate, which shows his mother as Josephine Grider - not Josephine Wright.
Per 1910 census she lived with husband George McIntosh and her daughters Edna R, India L and Birdie F in St James Twp, Missouri in Mississippi County. It shows that she and George were married 9 years as of 4-30--1910
The census showed she had birthed 10 children, but only 6 were still living. She must have been married at least once before George.
Daughter Birdie told her daughter Gloria Heslop Mills that Josephine died from alcohol poisoning.
Daughter Birdie refused to talk about Josephine. She was very angry that Josephine abandoned her and her siblings when they were children.
Granddaughter Gloria Heslop Mills told Pam Zakacs in 2009 that when she was younger she went with friends to see a psychic. Before she barely sat down and hadn't even said anything yet the psychic said there was anger within her family which Gloria told her she was unaware of. The psychic then told her there was a woman there who wanted Gloria to tell her mother Birdie how sorry she was. Assuming this woman was Josephine, Gloria tried to tell Birdie this but she refused to listen about her mom.
