Notes
a. Note:   Orville was born on his parents farm just outside of town. He spent his childhood with his brothers and sisters in the Penzance, SK, Canada area farming with his parents. It was a tough way to make a living. After returning from the ware in 1946, Orville and his brother, Claude, took up farming in the Jamison District of Saskatchewan. In 1955, Orville purchased his own land in the area and two years later married Emma Racette. They raised a family of five children on their land with all contributing to the farm life. In 1974, Orville and his wife, Emma, sold their farm land and retired to Pilot Butte, SK, Canada. Orville wasn't happy in retirement and soon found work one or two days a week as a maintenance employee for the Town of Pilot Butte. Orville and Emma were bless with many years of happiness together with their family, and the family still grows as the new generation of descendants appear. Orville will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, many friends and acquaintances. Orville was a kind and generous man, to all, and a true friend of mine. I will remember Orville as a man of great human wisdom.
