Wound over Tibia very clean. Wound over Fibula sutured with drainage, appears to be a good deal of loss of bony substance. C.O.A. Wound middle leg, Anterior leg, was in plaster of paris. Explored with needle in 8th intercostal space and pus removed. Operation 4 " of of 8th rib resected and large Hepatic abscess drained thru Transpleural route. 2/ GSW Thigh R Excised and F.B. removed - wound healed 3/ GSW Arm - dressed wound healed. Wound attributable to service in present war. Unfit for 12 months Change to NZ. was discharged as permantly unfit and sent home.
