Tarawera, was found on the river bank this afternoon. At the inquest to-night, Jessie Atkinson, wife of deceased, said her husband drank heavily, and was so cruel to her that she left him. On Tuesday last she obtained a separation order and £1 a week maintenance. A verdict that the man committed suicide by taking poison was returned.
