Notes
a. Note:   Harry was a World War II veteran.
5-14-97 Sent for Harry's birth certificate. If born before December 20,1908 birth cert. should be in the Franklin Co. Hall of Justice, 373 S. High St. 22nd Floor, Columbus, OH 43215. PH: 614-462-3894. They did not have his birth listed. To date, 8-9-98 I have not been able to get a birth certificate for him. I did however, get his Social Security Number from the Internet. It was 285-24-1591. I have since learned that not all births were recorded during the time frame Harry was born. Harry died of cardiac arrest - sudden death - at home early on a Saturday morning. He had just passed a physical at work and no health problems were detected. He was 64 years old and would have retired from the City of Columbus with 35+ years service had he lived until his 65th birthday Oct. 23. I later learned that his maternal grandfather Charles Sigman died of the same malady.
Harry was very pleasant and had a great sense of humor. He liked to read the paper, talk politics and other matters with wife Eva. He loved to read detective stories and usually had a novel in the car to read while waiting on my mother to go shopping or take us to the doctor. His favorite TV show was Mike Hammer.
