Per Times article (10-7-1978?) "Train Kills Cal Citi(z)an: CALUMET CITY - A Calumet City man was killed when he was run over by an Indiana Harbor Belt train. Joseph P. Zasada, 66, of 235 153rd Pl., was found about 5 p.m. Friday by the train's conductor, Edward Szura, 63, of 17512 Henry St., Lansing. The train was on IHB tracks near Plummer and Lincoln avenues. The victim got under the ninth car behind the engine and several other cars rolled over him, police said."
