Notes
a. Note:   (per St. Casimir baptismal records) Catarina was born 11-7-1894, baptized 11-18-1894. Godparents were Andreas Nowak / Josepha Musielak. (per Jackie Hayes) Godfather was Andreas Nowak, the husband of Lucia Zasada. Godmother was Josepha Musielak. She is the msytery woman and the "connect" between the elusive Franciscus & Antonia Zasada & Frank & Frances. I could not find her at all. However, I have found proof that their was a Musielak family in the area at about that time. I found a marriage record for Michael Musiclak (actual spelling) and Helena Klohammer on 9-2-1894 in Lake County. I found this couple in 1920 & 1930 but they were up in Chicago. They were on So. Sully Ave in 1920 and at 5142 So. Wood St. in 1930. I checked on mapquest for the Wood St. location and it seems to be SW of the intersection of I-55 and the Dan Ryan Expressway. Closer coordinates would be E. of S. Kedzie & S. of W 47th. I've chased Miotkes and other familiar Thornton Twp names around this neighborhood. Michael was 53 in 1920 and 63 in 1930. This would give him a b.c. 1867. Again, Michael Musielak is of the correct age to be a contemporary of Frank & Frances. Perhaps he had a sister. He did have a brother, Joseph, b.c. 1892. Joseph served in the Army during WWI. He was from Chicago. I just check again, using a spelling variation and found Michael & Helen in 1910. They are on Seely Avenue. Same street, I'm sure, as in 1920 just different spellings. THis is definitely the couple who married in Lake County. They've been married 16 years (c. 1894) and Felix Klyhammer is living with them, too. He was living with them in 1920 & 1930 and he's Helen's brother. In 1910 Michael's brother, John, and his mother, Victoria, are living with him. Victoria has three living children. I've accounted for two - Michael & John. Could Joseph be the 3rd? (per Hammond Times obit) Funeral at St. Andrew Church, Cal City, IL, officiated by grandson Rev. Elliott Nitz, S.D.S. Buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Cal City, IL (sec 10, blk 24, lot 21, grave 3)
