Note: N7342 He became the guardian of his nephew, Walter III, on the death of his brother, Hugh II. He inherited Styford as his father�s younger son. In 11667 he claimed the regrant of six knights� fees, two of which were held by the abbot of Ramsey. He founded Blanchland Abbey in 1166.
