Notes
a. Note:   It is possible (likely) that the Sarah recorded in the 1841 census was not the daughter of Wiliam & Louisa, particularly given that she was 12 and Lousia was only 20. The other interesting thing about the transcript of the 1841 census is that Louisa is recorded after Eliza who was 3 at the time. The tradition appears to be to record the children in descending age order. However, the Rothwell Parish Register records Sarah Ann, daughter of William & Louisa Hayo baptised on 6th September 1840. So, I'm not really sure what is going on here. I think that I have worked it out now. It appears that the transcript is incorrect. In the 1851 Census, Sarah is recorded as being 11 years old. This fits in with the baptism record and the fact that she is recorded out of order in the 1841 census (it could be that sh was recorded as 12 months old, not 12 years).
