Note: Killed in training for WWII in Macon, GA. Cause unclear - try and get records from US Army. O.B. was picked up by the 1929 Slocum tornado and thrown a good ways by the winds. Due to his young age he survived with no major injuries. Buried at Crawford Cemetery, near Slocum, TX. From the military records at http://aad.archives.gov/aad/: O.B. joined the US Army July 3, 1942 in Houston, Texas for a 5 year term. Army S/N was 18116561. His rank at time of death was staff sergeant, classification of "death non battle".
