He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Liz, his four children, Megan (Ben) Aprim, Katie (Zach) Vickery, David, and Greg, his grandchildren Emily and Matthew Aprim, and his dear dog, Cassie. He is also survived by his sisters Margaret (Barry) Price, Sheila (Ron) Lucas, mother-in-law Gerry Savage, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law and many nieces and neplews in Manitoba. He will also be greatly missed by his many friends. Ian was best known for his unique sense of humour and ability to make people laugh. He loved camping, traveling (especially in the Kootenays) and spending time with family and friends. Ian was an active member and Elder of Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church, and a willing and cheerful volunteer with many community organizations. Most recently, he was on the Board of Directors at both Dunwood Place and the Vintage Car Club of Canada (Vancouver). A celebration of Ian's life will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 15th at Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church, 2733 West 41 Ave., Vancouver.
