Depositions for defendants concerning the rectory and parish of Walton near Liverpool (Lane) touching the township district or place called Symonds Wood, which is said to have been the estate and inheritance of Lord Molyneux in the year 1692 - Meets and bounds - Tithes [A large estate in said district called"Bootle's House" and estate held in 1692 by Lawyer Bootle under lease from the Molyneux family, and estate in said district called"South Head" (occupied by defendant Hayes) which belonged in 1692 to Thomas Tatlock and now to his descendant William Tatlock of Liverpool, Brewer as lessee under the Earl of Sefton, the owner of the inheritance of Symonds Wood; and the family of the"Tatlocks of Bank within Melling", are mentioned.
