Note: Joseph Newhouse probably died sometime between 1910 and 1918. He is in the 1910 census and his wife was listed as a widow on her death certificate December 7, 1918. However the issue is confusing. A Joseph Newhouse supplied the information to the death certificate of the son Grant O. Newhouse on January 26, 1919. Is Joseph a son?
It is probable significant here that Joseph and wife were listed in 1910 as illiterate
Notes, probably taken at Greensburg Courthouse in 1969, list the birthday of a Theodore D. Newhouse, son of Joseph Newhouse, June 15, 1899. This record needs to be confirmed. Joseph's brother, John W. Newhouse, also had a son Theodore D., born April 4, 1899.
The same notes list the birthdays of Lena Ella as March 3, 1898 and John M.K.A. as April 8, 1895.
