Note: Baton Rouge Obit: Lockhart, Edith Glotz A loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother who alway put others before herself, died at 7:a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Summit Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was 90, born April 27, 1911, in Texas, and was a resident of Denham Springs for 51 years. Survived by daughters and sons in law, Percy Teekel, Irma and Ruben Spillman, Shirley and Jerry Smith, Kathleen Chavers, Lorraine and Lloyd Blount, Carolyn Forbes and Betty Jo and Marvin Zeigler. 18 grandchildren, Joh Owen Teekel, David Teekel, Linda Gauthier, Mickey Brooks, Wanda Abbott, Ruben Spillman Jr., Tina Annison, Louis Spillman, Tonya Dean, Jay Smith, Lan Stringer, Susan Bankston, Stacie Lejaunie, Lorie Blount, Brian Forbes, Joel Forbes, Brent Zeigler, and Blake Zeigler.and great grandchildren. Preceeded in death by her husband, Owen Lockhart, a daughter Joyce Teekel, parents John and Arie Glotz, a son in law Teddy Chavers, two brothers and three sisters. The family will receive friends at Seale Funeral Service Inc 1720 S. Range Denham Springs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday April 19, 2002 and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday. Funeral service will be at Seale Funeral Home chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday April 20, 2002, with the Rev. Zack Winningham and Dr. Richard Blue officiating. Internment will be at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Denham Springs. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. she was a member of Eden Baptist Church.
