Notes
a. Note:   H00017
Note:   Mom (Hazel Carpentier) always said that Grandpa was a dreamer and always had a get rich scheme. He loved to sing and recite stories and poems. I have some of them that I hope to scan into this album one of these days. He would take the kids for walks and always ended up at a revival tent. He would swear the kids to secrecy because Grandma didn't approve of them going there and then take them in to watch "the show". Mom said it was great entertainment. He would invite the Redemptorist priests from St. Alphonsus "Rock" Church to come to their house for dinner. She also told about how Aunt Mayme lived with them and treated Grandpa like a king. He was her little brother and she always thought he was very special.
