a. Note:   Morgan, Duke Cynthia Morgan was the first wife of William P. Duke, and mother of all his children. She was born 1821 in Warren County, Tn. and died 1890 Cannon County, TN. and is buried in what was once the orchard of the old Duke homestead. The current owners still respect the grave, although it is unmarked.
 I have not been able to determine who her partents were. Any information appericated, Mr. Hilary Parker, now deceased, said her family came from "Fountain Springs" . Is this in Cannon County, or Warren County ? He also said that her father fought in the REV. WAR.
