Note: The Potsdam Courier Freeman - June 15, 1898: Mr. Ovette L. Day of Hutchinson, Minnesota, is visiting his mother and sisters in Nicholville after an absence of 14 years. He is a manufacturer of woven wire fence in Hutchinson, the equal of Page fence. He plays the coronet and is the leader of the band in Hutchinson. The 1900 census for Bergen, McLeod Co., Minnesota lists Ovette as a grocer. According to Leslie Day's obituary, in 1901 Ovette lived in Letter Prarie, Minnesota.
