Notes
a. Note:   of 84 in 1873. c. I found an intriguing record in the name of PesslaFrydman. Of course, Zileh's future wife was named Pessel Frydman, thedaughter of Rachmiel Yosel Frydman and Sirel Mendelblatt Frydman. ThePessla I found, however, died on September 5, 1873 [Biala PodlaskaDeath Records for 1873, Akt. 112 at p. 157, Record Ordered]. Shewould have died before Grandma's mother was born and therefore it islikely that Grandma's mother was named after the woman who died in1873. Rachmiel Frydman is mentioned as one of the survivors in thedeath certificate [?????? ??????? ????? ??????? ? ?????? ??????" ???]. We know from Rachmiel's marriage certificate that his father wascalled Zil Yoselewicz. Zil's wife was Ruchel. Zil's father was YoselFrydman and Pessla was likely his wife and therefore Rachmiel'spaternal grandmother. Pessla was 84 years old when she died in 1873,meaning that she was born in 1789 the year of the French Revolutionand therefore the oldest identified member of our family tree!
Note:   Named after Pessla Frydman, Rachmiel's grandmother who died at the age
b. Note:   The 1939 Census states that she died on 29 July 1932!
