Note: Faigenbaum. Grandma never knew that her grandfather had a sister. Hername was Mirka Faigenbaum and she was born in or around 1863. She wasmarried to Srul (i.e. Yisrael) Isser Limoner on 16 January 1880 inBiala. Limoner was not from Biala and his family name does not show upin the records I have searched thus far. It is likely therefore thathe and his bride set up household outside of Biala and the family lostcontact with them by the time Grandma was born in 1905, 25 yearslater. Mirka was 17 when she was married. If the story about Leiband the Postawka is true then Mirka may have been born the year herfather was executed. [Biala Podlaska, Marriage Records for 1880, Akt.2, Record Not Ordered]. 14.5.03 On the other hand, there is a record from the 1939 census for a MirkaStejnklaper whose maiden name was Fajgenbaum and who was born on March7, 1862 to Leibko and Ruchla Fajgenbaum. Here Ruchla's name is givenas Bial/oskornik. Mirka would have been 77 in 1939. Note: I found a marriage record for another child of Leib and Ruchel
