Notes
a. Note:   !BIRTH: U.S. Census 1800, Newberry Twp., York Co., Pa., p. 218, John Webb Jr. Shows one male under 10, and one male 10-15. Since John does not appear on the 1790 census, nor on tax lists prior to 1792, it is unlikely that the male 10-15 is his son, but more likely a servant or hand. U.S. Census 1810, Fairview Twp., York Co., Pa., p. 1078, John Webb again shows one male under ten and one 10-15. The older child is probably the same as the younger male in 1800. Fairview Twp., York Co., Pa. tax assessment, 1822/3, James Webb first appears as a single freeman; therefore he is born no later than 1801. (No list of single freeman was given in 1821/2).
