a. Note:   Farmingham, Mass. for the past 33 years, died recently at the Framingham Union Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Port Greville, N.S. and was the son of the late William A. and Susanne (Parsons) Pleshaw. He was a carpenter by trade and had been a trustee of local 360 of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. A past Noble Grand of the IOOF while residing in Canada, he was a member of the Framingham Lodge. He also belonged to the Rebekahs. Besides his wife, the former Mable Bentley, he leaves to mourn his loss, three sons, William B. Pleshaw, who is Framingham's Postmaster; Donald H. and Paul A. Pleshaw of Framingham; four daughters, Marjorie (Mrs. Anthony DeCenzo), Eva (Mrs. Leo Cardiff), Muriel (Mrs. Clayton Steele) and Marian (Mrs. Louis Palmieri), all of Framingham; 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Edward Piersin of the First Presbyterian Church officiated. Burial was in the family lot in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham. His first wife was the former Annie Desmond of Parrsboro and Mrs. Walter Rutter, Whitehall is a niece of the deceased.
