<b>Jean C. Borne, 74, of Fort Myers, died June 19, 2001. She was born in Louisville, KY, a daughter of the late Charles and Nora Guelda. Jean retired from the Post Office and moved to the local area from Louisville over 10 years ago. She was a member of the Cape Coral American Legion. Mrs. Borne is survived by her children Albert Borne, Nora Kelly both of KY, Tim Borne of Texas, Elizabeth Clem of Fort Myers, Christiannne Hash, Donald Borne both of KY, Kevin Borne of Fort Myers, Mary Jean Mitteneder of KY, her brothers and sisters Richard Guelda, James Guelda, Sr., Charles Guelda, Jr., William Guelda, Marilea Sauer, Rosemary Lankswert, 19 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, her step-mother Leona Guelda. A funeral service will be conducted in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 - 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Hope Hospice of Lee County.
