After this, Nicholas disappears. PERSONAL NOTE: This same argument is used by Henry Z. Jones Jr, in his book, 'The Palatine Families of New York' pg 50. Only in his book he cites that Nicolas is a son of Hans Bellinger of Steinaue an der StraBe. [HJ] Comment Just note the causalities in this family, 1710-16. From 6 adults down to none, probably in 7 or 8 years. Cabins with six foot ceilings promoted TB no doubt. It required real labor with ceilings as much as 7 feet high!
