Notes
a. Note:   James Huck was 16 years older then Eliza Ann Wilson. I could not locate James and Eliza Huck on the 1880 Census. I could not locate the towns of Chase or Wausaukee for 1880. James and Eliza were divorced after 1887. Eliza was remarried to James McNeeley in mid 1898. He moved to Beaver, Oklahoma and remained estranged from the family. He left his land to his children and heirs in his will.
There is no information about the origins of James Huck or his family. In the 1880 Census for Little Suamico, there are 3 other Huck families, Edward Huck - 32, Daniel Huck - 44 and Amos Huck - 27. They are all from Pennsylvania. James Huck's birthplace is identified as Pennsylvania on the 1900 Census, where he is found living with a niece Melva E. Huck, in Little Suamico. On the 1900 Census in the Town of Chase, Amos Huck also had listed Melva. This was the niece living with James Huck!! Amos Huck had land 4 quarter sections north of Hiram Wilson. Amos must have been a successful farmer, his servant was Artentia Sampson, mother of 1 child, at the age of 12!!
