a. Note:   Went to school in Umtali, Started her carrier on the railways in 1942 and remained with them until 1961 whn she had a bad accident after our wedding and was partially paralized down her left side. If you want info about granny,s mum and dad thats a bit hazy, I think his name was Charles and her mum,s was Kathleen, the girls did,nt talk much about them as memories were not too happy, their dad was a cruel man which eventually sent their mum into a mental home in Bulawayo and subsequently died there. He married again and had a son and daughter, but the girls lost contact as he moved to South Africa.
