Zimmerman, a former Dow Chemical employee, died Wednesday morning at the Midland Hospital Center after a brief illness. Mr. Zimmerman, 62, of 3544 West Kemp, St. Louis, was born Oct. 14, 1914, in Boyne City. He worked at Dow for 30 year before retiring Dec 31, 1976. He is survivied by his wife Elizabeth; three daughters, Mrs. Pat Teal, of Brooklyn, Mrs. Gary (Janet) Wittbrodt, of Midland, and Mrs Lewis (Judy) Shadoff, of Coleman; two sons, David of Columbus; and Howard, of St. Louis; five sisters, Mrs. Carl (Maxine) Shall, Mrs. George (Esther) Engel, and Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Kennert, all of Petosky, Mrs. Mary Jane Bouchey of Saginaw, and Mrs Norman Dunham of lansing; two brothers, Roy of Detroit, and Bill of Boyne Falls; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Saturday at the Carter Funeral Home, 228 Center St. Louis. The Rev. Harold Mann of the First United Methodist Church of St. Louis will officiate. Burial will be in the Jasper township cemetery, Midland County. ---------------------------------
