Notes
a. Note:   Info from E. Michael Fisher/NV [75610,1731] From the "Fisher family tree" prepared by Hilbert A. Fisher, Department of Mathematics, N.C. State College; Raleigh N.C. (there is no date): The tree has the following quote, "Jacob Fisher came to Pennslyvania, about 1726, from Frusheim an ancient town in the Palitinate, located on the plain west of the river Rhine, in Germany. He was one of the first settlers in New Goshenhoppen in Pennslyvania. He died in 1748." Perhaps that could be a clue to the location of Palintinate. The handwriting is hard to read, and I'm not at all sure that's the correct spelling of Frusheim. It mentions a son Herman who was born in Germany and came to America with his father in 1726 when Herman was about 30 years. The tree starts with Jacob and his wife Sophia Elizabeth. Other children (besides Herman) listed are Anna Mariah, John Phillip, John Henry, Mariah Magdalene, and Johanna Margaret. It doesn't say whether these children were born in Germany or after he migrated to America. ------------------------------------------- From: E.
