a. Note:   Information from Lucille Warner via Nancy Zimmerman Dunham: "Hattie A. Brown was born in May, 1875. She married Enoch Ison in 1895. They had three children: Ethel, Fern, who passed away January 27, 1915 at the age of eight after being ill for a about a week of an intestional obstruction, and Fay, who died in infancy. Hattie died October 21, 1912. Enoch was born in Canad, February 1, 1869. When he was 16 years old Enochj came with his parents to Eastport, making the trip from Traverse City by boat. The family took up a homestead one mile north of Eastport, and with the exception of six years spent in Detroit, they made their home in Central Lake and Eastport community. Hattie was noted for her beautiful paintings. Several years after Hattie's death he remarried.
