Note:   Obituary Mrs. Emil Kraling Funeral services for Mrs. Emil Kraling were held Sunday, February 23, at St. Pauls's Lutheran Church, Harmony, Minnesota. The Rev. Gerald Brown officiated, with burial in Big Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Perry Pederson, Herman Lange, Donald Trende, Leonard Runge, Willard Hannon, and Ferdinand Feuerhak. Mr. And Mrs. William Kiehn sang, and were accompanied by Mrs. Reuben Kiehne. The former Amelia Trende was born December 24, 1889, in Fillmore County, Minnesota to Albert and Amelia Trende. She was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul's Church where she remained a lifelong member of the congregation and its ladies auxiliary. On May 28, 1912 she was united in marriage with Emil Kraling at the Big Springs Church. They established their home on the farm where they resided until moving to Harmony in 1957. To this union were born seven children. She is survived by her husband, Emil, three sons, Percy, Harvey and Allen all of Harmony, Minnesota: two daughters, Mrs. William (Lucille) Ellis, Salt lake City, Utah, and Mrs. Melvin (Adella) Hauff, Tahoe Vista, California; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Martha Aug, of Parkside, Sask., Canada, also survives. Two sons, Arlo and Donald, her parents, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Hammy News February 27, 1969
