Note: Obituary Hannah Zimmerman Dies Of Long Illness Hannah A. Zimmerman, 1244 Juniper St., died Friday, June 23, 1967, at Eventide Nursing Home where she had been confined for two years. She was 86. Mrs. Zimmerman was born September 2, 1880 in Big Spring, Fillmore County, Minnesota, the sixth child of Martin J. and Maria Kraling. She was christened Odilie Wilhelmine Johannah but was always known as Hannah. She spent her early life in Minnesota, until she married Aaron H. Zimmerman of Douglas County, Washington, on December 25, 1901, in Preston, Minnesota. They homesteaded in Hartline Washington, where their four children were born. In 1914, they rented out their farm and moved to Zion, Lake Co., Illinois, where they made their home for almost 50 years. Her husband, Aaron, preceded her in death in April 1946. She was a member of the Grace Missionary Church in Zion. In 1963 she moved to Longmont, Colorado and made her home with her youngest son, Wesley and his family. Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by two sons, Wesley A. of Longmont and Rollin E. Zimmerman of Chicago, Illinois; one daughter, Mrs. Bereniece V. Poulsen of Zion; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; and a brother, Emil Kraling of Harmony, Minnesota. A daughter, Mrs. Gladys E. Kreuscher, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, died in May 1947. Her body was sent to the Congdon Funeral Home in Zion, Ill. where services were held on June 27 at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Carl Q. Lee of the Christian Catholic Church officiating. Mrs. Zimmerman was laid to rest beside her husband in North Shore Garden of Memories, in North Chicago, Illinois.
