Note: Rev. John P. Zimmer "Jefferson City, Mo. - The Rev. John P. Zimmer, 63, of 201 North Maple, Eldon, Mo., died Friday in Jefferson City after a long illness. He was born July 7, 1912, in Port Huron. He was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Chicago. Rev. Zimmer was retired. He married Dorothy M. Moss on June 1, 1940, in Chicago. He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Jan Thomas, Eldon, Mo., Mrs. Lillian Wheeler, Argyle, Mo., Mrs. Becky Ash, Brumley, Mo. and Mrs. Debbie Traub, Stony Hill, Mo.; three sons; David Zimmer, Charlotte, Paul Zimmer, Mt. Zion, Ill. and Steve Zimmer, Eldon, Mol; two sisters; Mrs. Iberia Marshall and Mrs. Hattie May, both of Port Huron; a brother, Frank Zimmer, Port Huron, and 12 grandchildren. Services will be today at 3:30 p.m. in the Griswold-Kays Funeral Home, Eldon, Mi. The Rev. Kenneth Carpenter of Fellowship Bible Church will officiate.
