  J. Harry Smith 1963 Bridgewater Bulletin
  The sudden death of J. Harry Smith occurred at the Halifax Infirmary after
 an illness of six weeks.
  He was a veteran of the First World War and was a Staff Sgt. of the
 Commissionare of the Eastern Air Command at the time of his death. Mr.Smith
 was a member of West End Baptist Church, Halifax.
  He is survived by his wife, (formerly Pearl Zinck of Maplewood); two
 daughters, Marilyn (Mrs. James Kitchen) of Halifax; and Beryl (Mrs. Cecil
 Zimmer) of Florida; also four grandchildren.
  A funeral service was held at the Halifax Funeral Home conducted by Rev. R.
 C. MacCormick and Rev. Bingham, R.C.A. F. The body was brought to Maplewood
 by Langille's Undertaking Service where the service took place at the
 Emmanuel Baptist Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Killam, with the
 choir in attendance.
  Many floral tributes testified to the esteem in which he was held by
 relatives and friends.
