Theresia and Rosa Zipfel moved to America with their aunt Elizabeth Herz ne�e Zipfel (Joseph Zipfel's sister). Elisabeth's family consisted of herself, her husband Fridolin Herz and son Anton Herz. They travelled together on the ship "Wm. Frothingham" which departed from Le Havre, France and arrived at the port of New York on 26 May 1857.
