Note: We are not sure that Theodore was truly Grandfather August's brother, but I remember our family in the thirties feeling that they were required to send boxes to Uncle's family because he, the older brother, had helped the younger brothers get to America. We sent boxes of gifts, clothing and especially shoes (in Germany between the wars, they had a terrible depression, almost worse than ours, if possible, and shoes were especially precious). We sent them to a Wallie Seimons (Seimans?), possibly Theodore's granddaughter and Wallie, perhaps a nickname for Wilhelmina. I have a picture of Theodore, which is hand-tinted, showing him in a Prussian military uniform. Perhaps that uniform and rank could be followed to a better identify of this family.
