a. Note:   Zippel, Caroline Ann Caroline Ann Zippel, 95, passed away Wednesday Feb. 20, 2002, in Sharpe Care LTD, in Oconto Falls. Caroline was born July 14, 1906, in Spruce to the late John and Katherine (Prucha) Semrad. She married Spies Zippel on Oct. 27, 1927, at St. Lukes Parsonage in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1979. Caroline owned and operated, with her husband, the Zippel Store for 25 years from 1942 to 1967. They then owned and operated the Oconto Liquor store for 5 years from 1967 to 1972. Caroline then worked for Sylvester Florist part time until her retirement. Caroline was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, a lifetime member of Oconto County Historical Society, Oconto Ladies Elks, and Oconto Hospital Auxiliary. Caroline is survived by nieces and nephews, Everett Erieau, Delcian (Allan) Scanlan, Beverly (Wendell) Stone, Wilfred (Betty) Erieau, Eugene (Janice) Erieau, Duane (Sharon) Erieau, Richard (Joan) Erieau, Thomas Koch, Judi (Ron) Hablewitz, Mark (Jean) Koch, Steven (Becky) Koch, Jon (Mary) Koch, Barbara Krish, John (Evelyn) Bonk; many great and great-great nieces and nephews and one great-great-great niece. She is preceded in death by five sisters, her twin sister Helen (Albert) Paprocki, Blanche (Wilfred) Erieau, Marion (Joe) Kvitek, Katherine (Paul) Aubut, Pauline (Kenneth) Koch; one nephew, Roger Erieau; one niece, Fay Aubut-Burmeister; and two great-nephews, Robert Erieau and Kevin Stone. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, with Prayer Services at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Holy Trinity Parish with the Rev.
