Notes
a. Note:   At marriage, Harry I Cross listed of "Hartford Conn.".. resides at Moodus Conn., where Mr. Cross conducts the Brownell Cotten factory. Found the following: A personal friend of his youth remarked "He taught me three things... 1) that life is good and fine and not to be feared, 2) That practically everybody has some good in him, something worth developing - that I did not have to be a censor of others - that there is much more to life than making a living, 3) That selfishness is a very poor attitude -- He gave a fine example of successful living." Another friend of later life, "he was always friendly, with a genuine sincere, kind, and with such an aura of gentleness, about him, that he always left us with a feeling of peace and confidence". He leaves a wife - Blanche Brownell Cross, a son - Cedric B. Cross of Monson, Mass., two grand-children. A daughter, Dorothy, died in 1933 her Junior year at University of Vermont. Baptism By Rev.
