Note: Grace H. Brown, 86, died July 15, 2001, at her home in Preston, Kansas. She was born April 17, 1915, in Preston, the daughter of Frank and Sadie Leroux Selle. She graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield. She married Charles Leslie Brown Dec. 30, 1941, in Arnold. He died June 8, 1998. A resident of Preston, she was a retired music teacher. Mrs. Brown was a member of United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, both of Preston, Music Club, Rebekah Lodge, Extension Homemakers Unit, and Retired Teachers Association, all of Pratt, and the National Education Association. Survivors included two sons, Kermit Brown and Stan Brown, both of Preston; one daughter, Brenda Riffey of Pratt; and three grandchildren.
