Note:   Obituary: (Unknown Published Date) Amada Ellen Lookabill, daughter of George and Elixabeth Lookabill, was born Feb. 29, 1848, in Putnam county, Indiana, and died in Ulysses, Kansas, Sunday, March 17, 1929. The last survivor of 14 children. She was united in marriage to David Kepley Nov. 8, 1871, at Russelville, Indiana. To this union were born eleven children, Three, Anna, Viola and Elodie having preceded her to the Great Beyond a number of years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Kepley and family came from Indiana to Grant county, Kansas, in the fall of 1888 and located on a homestead in the vicinity of Gloden, where they resided until the spring of 1923, when they came to Ulysses, and have since made this their home. Mrs. Kepley united with the Christian church at Hebron, Indiana, when sixteen years of age, and ever since continued in the faith. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, four sons, Austin, Frank and Clarence Kepley of Ulysses, and Dolpha Kepley, of Mineral Hot Springs, Colorado, and four daughters, Mrs. M. F. Dew, and Mrs. G. F. McGillivray, of Ulysses; Mrs. John O'Dea, of Moscow, Kansas, and Mrs. John A. Meyer, of Gardner Colorado. Also twenty-four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
