a. Note:   ney). Was known to many as "Jim Bob" Jim entered the Johnson Regional Medical Center for testing and was transferred to the hospital in Fort Smith Arkansas (approximately 40 miles away) for further testing when it was believed he had pancreatic cancer, on 16 March 2000. The transfer was done by ambulance. When the testing was completed he and Mary were told that it looked like pancreatic cancer (as spots were found) as well as an enlarging liver. The family (Mary, Pa, Rosalie and Royce) discussed it and the decision was made by Pa to return to the Johnson Regional Medical Center. According to what Mary told us, he was returned there via ambulance on 17 March 2000, placed in his bed from the ambulance gurney, took 2 breaths and then passed away. The time of death on the death certificate is shown as 2:50 P.M., Friday, 17 March 2000. He was creamted that day. They had a memorial service in Arkansas that Sunday (19 March 2000). Mary sent his ashes back to Ellen in order that he could be buried next to Dorothy in Black River. On Wednesday 19 April 2000 Bernard and I met with Ellen and Bobby Peck at the Black River Cemetery at 5:15 for the internment. A hole was dug for us and Bernie placed Pa's ashes in it, covered it in and the man from the cemetery replaced the sod. While he was putting his equipment away the 4 of us gathered around the gravesite while Bernie dedicated his mother and father's graves and said a prayer. The memorial service for here in New York will be held on Saturday 6 May 2000 at the Black River Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. and his wife Mary will be attending from Arkansas.
Note:   Was born Robert James Sweeney but had his name changed to James Robert (per James Robert Swee
