Text:   Eliza Jane LeFever Mrs. Eliza Jane Lefever died Sunday night at ten o'clock at her home in Lancaster township. Death was due to paralysis and general infrimities. She has been ill healt since last fall, but was not bedfast untill five weeks ago and was seriously ill but two weeks. Saturday night she was stricken with paralysis ans sank rapidly to the end. Mrs. Lefever was born in Virginia February 28, 1832, making her age seventy-six years and twenty-four days. She moved to wells count at the age of six years. Her marriage to Price LeFever was solemnized January 1, 1850. They came to Huntington County October 3, 1864, and settked on a farm seven miles south of Huntington on Lancaster Road and one and one-half miles went on Lancaster township. That farm continued her home up to the time of her death. Mr Lefever died in September 1899. The mother of eleven children, ten survive, Lola Rudy having died on January 1899. Children are Sarah Elizabeth Brooking of Huntington County, William David Lefever of Wichita, Kan, James T. of Linden, Kan., Nettie Mills of Haster Mills Ga., Emma Carroll of Huntington County, Allen Lefever of Indianapolis, Emira Coush and Joseph Lefever of this county. There are thirty-six grandchildren and eight great grand children a sister Mrs. Catherine Jones of Wells County. Thirty-five years Mrs. Lefever was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, she was always interested in the work of all churches and the promotion of all efforts (The rest in unreadable)
