Note:   March 25, 1870, Wednesday-From the New York Times A disturbance occurred on Wednesday night in the liquor-store of MICHAEL TANCRED, at No. 453 Washington-street, when PATRICK KELLY AND his brother JOHN, of No. 140 West Thirty-third-street, attempted to force their way in JOHN KELLY was dangerously wounded on the head by a bottle hurled by some one inside through the glass door, and he was removed to Bellevue Hospital in a critical condition
  John emigrated from either Liverpool or Dublin in 1868 and was in this country for approximately 10 monhts when he unfortunately died
