Lowery. Dorothy C. Mitchell, daughter of Jonas H. and Mary Kellerman Lowery, was born June 27, 1898 in Somerset County Pennsylvania and passed away of an extended illness on Jan. 10 at 5:30 p.m. at Chillicothe Hospital. On January 27, 1917 she was married to Dyer Lee Mitchell who died 29 Dec 1943. Surviving are three sons Arthur L, William S. and David H. Mitchell. She has nine granchildren Dianna Butterbaugh, Tony, Rhea, Bobby and Susan Mitchell and Connie Riley. She has four great grandchildren. She was the 14th child from a family of sixteen. Two brothers ar living, Robert S. Lowery, Pittsburgh, PA and John Lowery McKees Rock, PA. Four sisters and nine brothers preceded her in death. She leaves a lot of friends who will miss her cheery smile and kind words.
