Jo hn T ob eck who died November 20, at St. Lukes Hospital. Farg o, of e ncephalit is af ter a short illness of 5 days. Services were condu cted fr om Ave Mar ia Cath olic Church, at 8:30 a.m, Rev. Fr. Nicholas Kra emer off iciating. Clara Louise Tobeck was born July 28, 1892 to Mary and Leopo ld Y ez ek at Ma nley, Iowa. She lived in Iowa and attended school there u nit il t he a ge of 16 when she moved to Traverse County. She was married March 26, 1913 to John Henry Tobeck at Dum on t, M in n. To t his union were born three girls and six boys. She w as ve ry interes ted a nd active in her children's 4-H work; and saw her s ix so ns all in t he arm ed forces at one time or another. Surviving the deceased are her husband; her sons, J. M. of Brecken ri dg e; A ugust of Minneapolis; Vincent, St. Paul, Frederick and Norma n, Whe at on a nd Kenneth of the Armed Forces; her daughters. Veronica (Mrs. A. M. Olsen, Bernice (Mrs. E. Sto dd ar d) a nd Kathleen, all of Minneapolis; ten grandchildren, four sist er s, Mar ie We lls of Minneapolis, Rose Cable of Alexandria, Gertrude Sch il dt of Wh eato n, and Josephine Bruce of Los Angeles, Calif.; and two br oth ers, Char les a nd Frank Yezek of Pillager, Minn. Palllbears were Donald Schildt, Harold Krauth, August Schumac he r, Mi lt on Schmidt, Lloyd Bruns and Fredolph Anderson. Music was by t he A ve M ar ia Parish Choir with Joanne Deal, organist. Interment at Wil dwo od Ceme ter y, arrangements with Anderson Funeral Home. Persons attending the funeral from a distance were the J.M.
