HERMAN TOBECK, 65, IS CALLED IN DEATH AT WOODWORTH HOME Funeral services for Herman Henry Tobeck were held Tuesday afternoon at 2: 00 o'clock from the Lutheran church in Woodworth with the Rev. Jeschke officiating. Interment was in the Woodworth cemetery. Mr. Tobeck died at his home in Woodworth Saturday evening at 6: 00 o' clock. He had been ill for two weeks. Mr. Tobeck was born in Cook county March 29, 1866, the son of Dietrich and Margaretha Hopman Tobeck. He came to Woodworth with his parents in 1877 and he was reared in the Woodworth community, r eceiving his education in the public schools there. On April 6, 18 81 he was confirmed in the Lutheran church at Woodworth. He moved to LaCrede, ILL, in 1897 and it was there he met Miss Hanna Godbersen to whom he was married at St. Peter, ILL., on Ju ly 1, 1 90 1. They made their home near LaCrede until 1917 when the family moved to a farm near Buckley. Five years ago he returned to Woodworth, residing on a farm near there for three years. For the past t wo years he has l ived in the village. Surviving are his widow, six children, three sons and three d aughter, t wo brothers, one sister and three grandchildren.
