Notes
a. Note:   315 Sobieski St, Buffalo. 1910
b. Note:   Was a laborer working whenever and wherever he could. He carried mortar for the bricklayer I remember him working at the cemetery. (St. Stan.) He lived to be 88 and died 1/2 yr. after being ~ ill. Old age symptoms. Up until that time he lived with Aunt Mary Wujek. I recall his room upstairs which was good since he had a place of his own. Vaguely I remember him playing the violin and thumping his foot to keep rhythm. He carried a little change purse and whenever he was around his grandchildren you can be sure a nickel or so would be yours. He was a short man in stature, probably no more than 5' 4". He loved to walk and Broadway market was one of his favorites. He would check to see if Dorothy was on the job and then report to Aunt Mary. He'd meet his buddies at Humboldt Park. If he couldn't sit up front with the driver of the car, when going for a ride, he would not go. To typically describe him would be to say he resembled Barry Fitzgerald.
