Note: The Logan Republican: January 29, 1920, Logan, OH. IN MEMORIAM Anna Mary Zwickel Anna Mary Zwickel, was born Feb. 1, 1862, and departed this life Jan. 22, 1920, aged 57 years, 11 months and 21 days. She was baptized and confirmed September 6, 1876. She leaves to mourn her departure one brother, one sister, eight nieces and ten nephews, and a host of friends. Mary is gone - but not forgotten; her voice on earth stilled, her chair is vacant; her tender calling for her dear sister and other loved ones to minister unto her wants will be heard no more. She can not come back to greet us any more, but we can prepare to meet her in that heavenly mansion, where pain and suffering are no more. She had been a great sufferer for the last few years, but more severely afficted [sic.] the last few months, but through all this long period of the most intense pain and suffering, she did not murmur of complain, but bore it all with patience, always looking for strength and help from higher power. As much as she desired to live and be with her sister, she expressed herself as being ready to meet her Savior, and be at rest. We cherish the sweet songs she sang on her bed of affliction, and the memory of these will not be forgotten. She lived a quiet Christian life, ever ready to lend a helping hand. But yet with all this the Master said "Thy work is finished, come up higher, and as the morning sun spreads its golden beams over the eastern horizon, the messenger of death claimed her as its victom, and her spirit took its flight, and today she is free from all suffering and pain. Card of Thanks The family extend thanks to all friends and neighbors who assisted them during the sickness and death of their loved one.
