AGED WOMAN IS FOUND DEAD Death from heart disease was the finding of Coroner Vance brian in the case of Miss Catherine Zwickel, 82, who was found dead at her Marion township home at 6 p.m. Saturday by Mrs. Dora Fickel, a neighbor. Miss Zwickel was seen alive the last time by Mrs. Fickel on Wednesday when she came to her home to obtain a loaf of bread. At that time, she left an order for another loaf to be delivered Saturday. Mrs. Fickel had taken the bread to the Zwickel residence. When she failed to receive a response to her knock on the door, she began an investigation and saw Miss Zwickel lying on the floor. Aid was summoned. Coroner Brian and Deputy Sheriff Nellis Smith went to the residence and conducted an examination. Miss Zwickel leaves a beother Daniel of Marion township. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Emanuel Lutheran church on Rush creek. Burial was made in a nearby cemetery by the Leonard Funeral service. ************************************************************************************** The Logan Republican: June 23, 1938, Logan, OH. CATHARINE ZWICKEL Catharine Zwickel, daughter of Christian and Christiana Zwickel, was born in Marion township, Hocking county, July 21, 1856. She was a kind and loving friend and neighbor in time of need. She expressed herself many times as ready to go when the Master calls. Her sister, Mary, preceded her in death 18 years ago. Since that time she has lived alone. She was found dead in the home by a neighbor, Mrs. Dora Fickel, Saturday evening, June 4, her death due to heart failure. The span of her life was 81 years, 10 months and 13 days. She leaves to mourn one brother, Daniel and a number of nieces and nephews. Blessed are they which die in the Lord.
