BAPTISM: William Henry Spencer was probably baptised in St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Milford, CT -Rosa Mazeau, 1989. DEATH: U.S. Social Security Death Index; SS-5 Form copy in possession of Marshall Joel BROWN. Parents listed on his SS-5 form. These differ with his parents' names as supplied his dau, Rosa Delight SPENCER to Marshall Joel BROWN in oral interview about 04 Aug 1983, at her home at 560 Huntington Road, Shelton, Connecticut, USA. RESEARCH: 28 Sep 1998: complete info abt the two sets of parents of William Henry SPENCER, object: which names were supplied by him vs. which names were supplied by his daughter Rosa SPENCER. RESIDENCE: Marshall remembers as a child prior to 1965, visiting William Henry Spencer and his wife Rytena Parsons at their home near downtown Milford, Connecticut, near the green, at 24 Noble Avenue. The exact street address is found in the 1942 Milford City Directory, at the website: http://images.ancestry.com/iexec?htx=list&r=an&cat=MLFRD-MA-1942 (see S, page 18) RESIDENCE: From Camille Symons, Sep 20 2002, to Marshall Brown via emal: It (the printing company where Fracis Mazeau and Horace Mazeau were both employed in 1942, according to the 1942 Milford City Directory) was known as the Wilson H. Lee Company. We saw quite a lot of Horace and family, as they lived about 4 houses down from the Spencer's on Noble Av. When we lived at Ettador Park, we'd see him there, as the Camille Mazeau's lived across the street. I sent you a copy of Grandpa Mazeau's article on becoming Colonel yesterday. I also started the process of selling the Huntington home on Thursday. They both are anxious to move ANYWHERE, as long as they're together. This makes it somewhat easier for the daughters, knowing our parents are facing the fact that they can't live there another winter. We're aiming for the home on Platt St., behind the house Gordon and I had on Pond Point Av. This offers a double room for couples, which not all nursing homes do. Camille
