BIOGRAPHY: 3/24/2001 Donald Mazeau: Milton was a builder, his own business, in PA, built town of Overbrook,(then an upscale community in northwest Philly west of the Shuylkill River) built big business buildings in Philadelphia, many people knew of him. Francis mentions him by name in the 1988 letter to Marshall Brown, on Marshall's Family Website. RESEARCH: Internet 8/5/2002 http://www.overbrookfarms.org/architects.htm Walter Price was born on August 31, 1857 and died on May 22, 1951. He attended Friends' Select School and graduated from Haverford College in classical studies in 1881, receiving his master's degree from Harvard in 1884. For nearly ten years he was associated with his brothers in their architectural endeavors, but in 1902 had launched his own practice with work on the Haverford college, combined with speculative housing design for the developer Milton W. Young, chiefly in the Overbrook Farms area of Philadelphia.
