Note:   considered one of the more colorful descendants of william davis, frank reno davis was a prominent citizen of fleming co., ky in the 1st half of the 19th century. frank was said to have hauled the stones of the old family home in prince william county, va, to fleming co. around 1817, to build the 'new' family home near hillsboro. he would have been about 12 years old. b. 1805, he was NOT a twin to capt. elias p. davis jr., who was b. feb 1810. frank died of complications of diabetes.
